No Sapphire Blue for Canada
I had noticed that the Canadian web site did not have Sapphire Blue as a colour option. Was hoping that this is just an error in the configurator, but my sales rep confirmed that "Sapphire Blue Pearl is not offered on the BRZ and we can not special order it." Bummer.

What about Trueno blue on an 86?
|
Not sure, there's no configurator up on the Toyota Canada web site, and I haven't talked to any Toyota dealers yet.
|
I had to look back and it seems Subaru Canada has never offered the dark blue for the BRZ ever. Model Year 2013 was most dire with only 4 colours offered, adding red and dark grey the next model year.
|
As I recall, it was the same with the WRX/STI. Back in the early years of the current gen, there was a dark blue, but then it disappeared. Quite a nice colour. Guess the volume wasn't there for it...

they took forever to get the 2020 configurator online as well.....it went up sometime AFTER the 2020's actually showed up in showrooms. Oh it says Trueno blue is avaiable on the press release: https://www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/abou...e-december-1st Quote:

From the press release "The all-new 2022 Toyota GR86 goes on sale December 1st"
I bet that is when the configurator shows up. The cars won't but the configurator will! |
I can confirm that Trueno Blue is in production for Canada GR86 as there is one premium AT allocated as stock (check my tread in GR86 forum)
