What would be a good way to make the chrome trim ring around the start button black?

Aliexpress/Ebay/Amazon you can find very cheap anodized rings. The chrome piece pops out very easily for replacement. Just use a small flathead with some tape on it and be gentle.

I went with a black ring.

Hopefully you can make it out well enough in my pic here:

Do you have a link? I can only find the outer large ring, not the chrome inner portion.

This is the exact one I bought, though it appears to have more than doubled in price since I purchased in 2018. Probably cheaper ones available!
