Temptations...

There's a used 2009 base chicane yellow 370Z at my local Acura dealership w/ about 16,000 miles on it for $24,999 that just came in. I'm REALLY tempted to test drive and pull the trigger for this car, but I don't want to spoil my appetite for the FR-S' release. I'd get it but it's a manual (I want an auto for my next car), it's too bright (yellow = cop magnet), and I really would prefer a 2+2 layout. I was considering a new 370Z, but this seems like a good deal for the price. Should I abandon ship already?

I wouldn't sweat it... there will be more if the FT isn't what you want once released. I will say though that I love my 350 and it has never been less than a thrill to drive.

No harm in test driving. I didn't dig the 370Z I tested. Too many compromises.

There are no good deals at the dealership.

I liked the 370Z that I test drove however didn't care for the blindspots plus lack of functionality since it would be my only car. Give it a test drive and see what you think. There will always be more used ones in the future. Just remember it will probably have worse gas mileage and higher insurance than the FT86 while costing as much used as you could get the Scion new. Just worth thinking about.

I think the 370z is a great car, they drive very nicely and the sound is good too bad its not a everyday livingable car in my eyes

I loved the 370Z that I test drove. The big thing holding me back is lack of a rear seat. If I had to get one, I'd hold out for a base+sport.

if you dont plan on taking your car to the track, i dont think the ft86 can touch this car. dive right in

I have test drive 370z few weeks back myself too, cuz dealer had it and had it for good price too. In the end, I didn't buy em... BUT it was pretty interesting. felt bit different from 350z (which my friend had).

Just test drive em and see how that 370z. It's good experience before FR-S comes out.

I was so close to buying a '09 pearl white 370z Nismo but couldn't get past it being a 2 seater even though the price was good. It was a blast to drive though!
