How to identify OEM bumper
I am in the midst of picking up a spare rear bumper in the event of off road excursions during track. Is there a way to verify that the bumper is OE? Does anyone know if there are OE markings on the inside?
Thanks. |
Like most other body parts there’s Subaru stamps on them

like how OE? the oe parts made by 3rd party factory in US has a sticker instead of subaru stamp
They are what most bodyshop uses. They are usually not 100% alligned like real oe parts from japan, but it's hard to tell unless you know what you are looking at or has the parts next to each other with a ruler on your hand. *my trunk isn't oe from japan & the angle of how it tapers off towards the rear is slightly different, I couldn't tell the difference till I install it & notice my wing angle is different... |
