Joying head unit + Toyota 86 steering wheel swap?
 

Have a 2014 frs without volume controls.

I’m wanting to see if it’s possible to swap on a Toyota 86 steering wheel with volume controls.


Reason I’m asking is because I just pulled the trigger on a Joying 10.1 1920*1200 6g+128gb head unit (single din) and it’s apparently a pain to change volume on it without physical controls.


Two questions…will it be an easy plug and play with minor wiring to the head unit?
And
Will these wheel controls work?

Getting rid of these pesky Scion badges makes me feel happy. Hopefully it’s possible.

I ended up adding the Joying steering wheel bluetooth controls. Apparently adding any kind of factory wheel is a dead end.
