Need a sound tube for smog
 

Wanted to see if anyone has one laying around they'd be willing to part with. It's the tube that comes off the intake, and goes into the firewall on the passenger side.

seriously? thats just shitty. Nothing to do with emissions at all. I am a professional tech and have worked on our version of smog testing called Aircare, and NEVER would those sound tubes come into play.

if you were closer, you could borrow mine, but I don't want to loose them. If I sell it I might want to put it back to stock

Good lookin out y'all. I found one cheap, smog is done, and shop could not give me a definitive answer as to why it was needed except that there are pictures of it online on a stock engine bay.

That sucks. The trd one is carb approved as well as so many fi intakes.
