Note:
4mm lower CoG. Vs the GR86 1.5mm lower.

Something I think we already knew I think, but its an interesting difference (along with the extra tenth in 0-60.)

At 5:45, tell me that doesn't sound like a turbo.

That was a press event. Zero chance that was a turbo.

I'm not saying it WAS a turbo, just that the sound clip they used SOUNDS like one. It stood out to me because I know it's not a turbocharged car.

It doesn’t sound like a turbo to me. Sounds like induction noise.

Fair enough.

It sounds to me like rushing air suddenly gets louder than the induction & exhaust noise.

I had this whole line of thought about how in today's market more people would associate turbo noises with strong acceleration, and so they would lean into that noise to convey a sense of strong acceleration in the video. But hey, maybe I'm overthinking it.

I feel like the crowd is turning on me here, and I am not willing to die on this hill lol.

I love the video. But it really isn't made for us. It is clearly made for the press that will vote on World Car of the Year, to which the BRZ has been touted to win.

Can we get confirmation of this? Not that CoG is the ultimate specification. In addition to the aluminum knuckle and newer rear sway bar design, the BRZ looks like the more developed twin.

I think you might be right on that point, but according to Matt Farah the differences are extremely subtle. He flat out said he could not tell you any differences between the two if you asked him.

How exactly braking is improved by 9 ft. in the 60-0 mph test? Nice try to compare the PS4 with the Primacy. Same comment about the entry speed on double lane change. It would make more sense to provide figures with same tires :D
