No VVT values in ecutek. VVT not engaging

I had a rebuild done and got a fresh tune. When i start and drive the car the VVT never engages. I also have no values regarding vvt, OCV etc except i do get some values in the VVT exhaust and retard angle. every other VVT related value shows n/a. Im trying to figure out what the problem is. Ive tried reflashing, driving with engine braking etc but to no avail. Ive heard the recommendation of a new ECU but am looking for other solutions as well. Any help would be appreciated

After my experience with this, I would take the intake cam gears off and see if either of the spring loaded oil pressure regulator doors have come loose. I was chasing this for a while on mine. Upon my rebuild, I discovered that one of my intake cams had come apart internally. The small door is pinched in place and shouldn't be loose- if it comes loose, you cannot repair it, and it will not hold the spring or oil pressure the way it is supposed to. This causes VVT issues.

That plate is only to hold the parts together before it's mounted to the camshaft. That's it. If it falls apart on disassembly, no biggie. Put it back together and peen the edges a touch.
