How do you find TDC for these engines? Ive searched but nothing about tdc for these engines.


Edit:

I think i got it. I used a long ziptie handcranked until ziptie didnt move. It took a few tries since i was using a ziptie.

That only kind of works. You don’t know if you are on compression or exhaust stroke. 50/50 it is on TDC. The only way to know for sure is to either align the timing marks, or pull the valve cover and make sure the cam lobes are facing away from each other when the piston is at the top.
