Timing Chain cover revisions / changes 2013-2020
 

Was browsing subaru parts page (comparing STI short block prices to wrx:)) and looked at timing chain covers for the 86 and noticed that there's been 2 revisions with the last one superseding all previous versions.

Curious if anyone knows if the latest one has any improvements anywhere (bigger oil passages? haha). I'm asking since things like OCVs have gone through the same revisions (superseding all previous versions) with improvements in things like oil contamination in the connectors
