Front wheelstud replacement w Brembos?
What is degree of difficulty? I'm at the track need to decide whether try to replace here or find a shop
|
It's the same thing with or without brembos: Remove caliper, remove brake disc, hammer the broken stud out towards the back, insert new stud, use wheel nut and a big bolt to tighten and pull the new stud into the hub.
The rest is reverse of removal |
Just get one off these. As you get tell by the pic I already bought one myself. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7f45c6e80e.jpg

He's probably not going to order that on amazon and wait at the track for it to be delivered. That's why I said to use a big nut.
That is also not a wheel stud remover, that's a wheel stud installer. A wheel stud remover is a hammer. https://youtu.be/9bZQeF-49Bo But you don't need the installer, you can get by with a large nut under the lug nut. |
I guess so lol.
