Help budget my 60k service
Hey everyone!
Service Quote: https://imgur.com/a/PFQ7wvq My car just hit 60k and I dropped it off to get it serviced, the technician said he would run a complete mechanical diagnosis of the car because I told him I had exact symptoms of these: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126915 https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130624 I am fairly certain it is my DI seals since the car has really high LTFT, struggles to go up the RPM range and also does the rpm bounce as seen in those videos. Which is why there's a $250 service charge for that which is not too bad. The technician also said I should be changing my fuel filter even though Toyota officially does not do it at 60k, I should. :iono: The steering damper bush is because my car has these symptoms: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133606 The ones I marked in red are the ones I am not too sure about. - Rear both inner axles: he stated these are cracked and have to be changed immediately - Replacing RH rear shocks: I will do this at the end of the month and change both the rear shocks. - Replacing Fuel Filter :bonk: - Replacing Drive Belt with idler pully: he said it is making noise - Air Filter: I just changed it to a K&N one so I won't bother The ones in blue I can do myself for cheaper outside and of better quality. I want to know what should be changed immediately to prevent further damage or catastrophic failure while driving because I don't have the funds to do this all right now. P.S: prices aren't in USD, they're dirhams (3.67 = 1 USD) |
