USB hubs?
 

Kind of a stupid question, but can we attach a USB hub to these cars and get more than 1 USB connection to the HU at a time?

I think im just more concerned that the stock unit (in my case the 2020 HU) doesnt provide enough juice to power 2 USB objects at the same time.

I have a USB stick for music (so its plugged in) and my iphone doesnt have enough capacity for me to just use it as the single device for tunes and photos and stuff. I wanted to use the Apple Carplay functionality yesterday but i had to choose between music or carplay, and i just left it on music. I use a USB charging adapter for the 12v/lighter socket for charging purposes.

I'm going to say, "no."

I just tried two different hubs and my '14 head unit would not detect any usb drives connected to the hub, even with only one plugged into the hub. Drives worked fine individually w/o the hub.
