From the link:

What models and years are affected by the recall?

Subaru) is recalling certain 2018 Forester, 2018-2020 Outback, 2019-2020 Ascent, 2018-2019 WRX, 2018-2020 Impreza, 2018-2020 Legacy, and 2018-2019 BRZ and Toyota 86 vehicles. The NHTSA says the low-pressure fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

The affected Subaru cars are equipped with a low-pressure fuel pump produced between March 2018 and March 2019

My wife received the preliminary notice of recall for her 18 Outback yesterday afternoon. All it really says at this point is "Wait we are figuring out what to do and who really needs it". Letters are expected to go to those impacted by September 13th.

My old lady had her fuel pump replaced last week in her RAV-4 under a similar recall. Same Denso pump as used in all of these.

At least it is not MY12 & MY13 this time around. When I first saw the headline, I must admit I thought “great, what now?”.

I said MY old lady, not AN old lady, there's a difference. I've been using that to refer to her since we met about 26 years ago.

I'm getting this strange feeling that you're trying to bait me into a witty comeback......

......HOWEVER.......

.......I respect my elders.........

.........Especially the really old and decrepit ones that can't remember what they had for breakfast, or where they parked their car at the mall, or when it's time to take their Metamucil.

So yeah, respect! :respekt:

I'll have you know that I can remember what I had for breakfast ...... 5 years ago ..... just not this morning.

As far as finding my car at the mall, I have no problem as long as I write down on my hand which door I entered ..... and ...... write down which car I drove to the mall.

Oh, yes, thanks for your :respekt:

:D
