Photos of modded 2nd gen BRZs from Japan?
 

As far as I understand, the new BRZ has been on sale in Japan for a few weeks now. Have any real people started modding their cars yet? Lowering springs, wheels? Are there any photos anywhere?

I'm not finding much. On the fence of placing my order for a BRZ since you can't just yet for an 86. Trying to talk myself into it. The 86 seemed to have a lot of JP tuners on board already. All I can find for the BRZ is the STI package.

Seems like Subaru really dropped the ball there. I guess their marketing budget isn't as large as Toyota's...all we can hope is that parts will fit across the new twins.

Literally everything except front aero and maybe rear sway bars will fit on both.

I suspect it's going to take a bit of time for parts to be tested and developed, check wheel fitment, etc.

It's why I changed my mind about pre-ordering one. I'm going to wait until next and hopefully stuff will be in development by then.

Looks nice! My coilovers are in the mail, bronze RPF1s are in the garage, and I have an appointment set for window tint and rally livery install. So, as long as I get the car around when I think I'm going to get it, should only be a matter of days before it's looking extra rad. Hopefully get some AP Sprints on shortly after that, and then start talking to Zebulon for big ol' aero. Pictures galore of the build process coming up!

I wish we were getting a "pure" white as a color choice. I've never liked the way pearl white cars look. They just look dirty to me.

I hated it on my 350Z.

Let them get a bit of brake dust on them and they'll match! :thumbsup:
