12v ignition source under hood
I am trying to find the 12v ignition source in the engine bay. I need to wire in my thermo switch for my oil cooler. Please help me find it, google has not been very useful and any other result tells me to run a wire inside he cabin...would there be any problems using an accessory power source in the engine bay? If so so where would it be?

Have you looked into an add a circuit fuse?

Do you have and know how to use a multimeter? Find an unused fuse spot in the engine bay fuse panel that is switched on while the vehicle is running and switches back off when you shut the car off, and tap into that circuit using a fuse tap kit such as this one, Attachment 203692 and then by adding a fused wire to the hot side (as opposed to the load side) of the fuse position. |
I like using this style personally.

Well the oil cooler fan pack works in an unused fuse spot, off of the bus bar, now to see if the code went away

Problem solved t used to cut the CEL on after starting the car. You learn something new every day, a other thing is the engine would stay running for a few secconds after removing the key from ignition now it cuts off immediately after removing key, which was what was supposed to happen
