Ignore/Hide a thread?
 

Is there a way to hide a thread? I know one could simply ignore a specific thread whenever it appears in the "New Posts" listings, but every once in a great while there's a thread that is just so off the rails and filled with pompous spew that I'd like to forget it even exists.... and that's hard to do when it crops up in the "New Posts" search.

No biggie if it's not possible... I can handle it... ;) ... but it would be great if there WAS a way to avoid the occasional reminders that certain threads still exist.

There are requests on the support site for this feature and it doesn't appear to exist. If you participated in the thread you can start by unsubscribing from it. The rating system might also help if you rate it terrible.

My ignore feature works just fine. I don’t want to read something I just don’t. Don’t need a forum setting to do that.

I liken it to visiting my local newsagents, sometimes I pick up a lefty paper, sometimes middle of the road and sometimes not so middle, righttish.. and sometimes I buy a hi-fi mag, sometimes sci-fi journal and sometimes just have a muse of what's on offer and walk out without buying.. it's all part of life..

Gee, let me guess which one. Doesn't belong on a car forum anyway.

I wonder if OPs can delete threads?
