The HKS GR86 project sets a new value to the latest pure sports car.

On June 6th (Japan time), a new HKS concept car was unveiled at the "Fuji 86 Style" in Japan.

HKS will be developing tuning parts for TOYOTA GR 86 that was recently announced by Toyota USA.

How is this car gonna handle with 255mm front wheels?

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with GT86 setup, is it better to have square setup at 255 mm than staggered, say 235 mm front and 265 mm rear for a supercharged car?

The preference will likely be a square setup. Square vs staggered is usually determined by the weight bias and which wheels are being driven. For example, time attack fwd cars with ~65/35 weight distribution will run massive front tires but relatively small rears. And for 911's, being rear engined with ~35/65 weight distribution, wear wide 315 rears and 255 fronts.

I'd love to see exhausts noise levels designed around having a catless header. I imagine this would be incredibly loud.

Sounds so good as it it though.
