Engine noise only when idle?
 

Cant seem to upload a video. The noise starts to happen a few minutes after car turns on and only when im idle. Sound fades away when driving, but comes back when I stop. Pulleys except AC, Tensioner arm, supercharger all have been replaced recently. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Can you isolate the source?

How long has the car been making this noise?

What is the last thing that was done to the engine?

My first suspect would be the tensioner pulley. - :iono:

Havent had any luck finding the source
Last thing on the engine was the spring valve recall, but I believe there was a noise at that time as well so I thought was pulleys, I replaced most of them.
Hard to say how long since its pretty much been in and out of storage. ~1-2 years

It's not the direct injector tick is it?

I dont think so, seems a bit more aggressive than that unless that noise can get worse?

Sounds like something in the valve train is ..... lose/out of adjustment - :iono:

Oh, ya its manual.

I do hear something weird. Sounds like an idler pulley rattle. Hear how it bops in and out of resonance? Reposting clip for convenience.

Spray some water on the pulley belt using a spray bottle. If it goes away for a bit, belt needs to be replaced or you need to check alignment.

Ended up being the supercharger bearings. Vortech repaired it and sounds all good now. Thanks for the help
