FRS won’t start, already tried new battery.

(See below Video)
Automatic 2015 FRS engine won’t start at all. I tried a brand new battery and it did not resolve the issue. When turning the key entirely, there’s no noise and no clicking. The dashboard lights up, the radio/stereo system does not come on. The key still locks/unlocks, though none of the power window or power lock buttons inside the car work. Will check starter later today, though While initially trouble shooting, we actually managed to get the car to start after fiddling around with locking and unlocking the car via the key. Possibly something with the immobilizer? Either way after getting it to start that one time, we could not get it to come back on again. Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Starter, Start relay, Neutral/Park switch. Do you have a VOM and know basic electrical?

Neutral/park switch always seems to be an issue with these cars. The switch is really hard to find because it sits way up behind the clutch pedal or brake pedal depending on whether you're automatic or manual. But I would start with that you should be able to lay on your back under the steering wheel console and look up to see if you can see the switch sitting behind the pedal when you engage the brake to start your car that switch pin gets pressed in and allows you to turn the car on. Try and press the switch with your finger with out engaging the brake, and have someone press the push start or turn the key for you. If you can get it to turn on like that then that's your issue my fix was simply to put thick magnetic tape on the little plate that pushes the pin so now little effort engaging the clutch pushes the pin in to turn it on.

Looked and looked, wasn’t able to find this button.

If it matters, I can’t put put the car into neutral or anything either.

The security light stops flashing when key is inserted, so I guess its not the immobilizer?

Additional details-

Headlights turn on just fine.

Stereo system does not come on at all.

The dash key symbol is flashing red. Now that I think about it I swear I remember it flashing amber/yellow before. I’ve seen mention it flashing “green” but it never flashed green in the past, only amber/yellow like normal.. The light does stop though when key is in ignition.

Changed the key battery!!!

Aaaaaaand.

Still dead 💀 Probably just going to have it towed at this point. How’s that work if I can’t change the car into neutral and it’s at the top of a parking garage lol

There isn't a lil whole but the shift knob where you insert the physical key to allow you to go into neutral

Try disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery and leaving it off for at least 30 minutes to allow the static voltage to discharge from the car's electronics, then reconnect the battery negative terminal to the post. This will reset your ECU, possibly allowing you to start the car.

What gets me is that your radio does not come on. Sounds like you may have a couple of blown fuses.

You need to find out what the battery voltage is with nothing on inside the car, then while attempting to crank, before you go any farther.
