Base model oil temperature gauge
 

I recently bought a 18 brz base model. I actually prefer it over my old PP brz minus the brembos. I don’t need heated seats and the mini lcd on the 17+ kinda bothered me. One thing I do need is oil temperature gauge. I’m thinking about ordering p3s gauge since it looks great but will it pick up my oil temperature? Not sure if the base models have the same sensor or not. Also how accurate is the p3 over let’s say a single pod gauge?

The P3 can pull temp from the OBD2 port.

I have a Pivot Dual guage in a vent mount and really like it. Oil temp or voltage is the digital display and water temp. is the analog since the stock water temp gauge is a dummy. All from the OBD port. Red or white illumination. 28000 yen so $314 can.
