Issue with OFT.

Hey all, 2015 FRS RS1.0

Recently purchased an OFT off a local BRZ owner. I went to their website and downloaded the tune that I want to use. I've been working with the support folks from OFT, but I lost track of where I was; life got in the way.

I figure someone here might have some feedback!

Any help would be appreciated, By the way, I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and if anyone can help me in person, BBQ is on me!

Thanks guys and gals!

Try the Software Tuning forum.

It sounds like the engine is running on your video. That might cause an error. I'm pretty sure the everything should be off unless instructed to turn on the accessory switch. Is this for a manual or automatic transmission? Are you using the correct rom file? Is it unmarried and your stock file has been saved?

Like orz said, is your engine running? There's your problem if so.

Going to echo what others have said so far. Start with the car off, then plug your cable into the OBD2 port. The tablet will power on just fine.

From there, any time it says to "Key on and confirm" make sure you only turn the key to the On position. Don't start the engine.

If it's still not working make sure the cable is seated fully in the tablet and in the OBD2 port. If you're still having trouble then there could be an issue with the cable or the tablet itself.

Also make sure that you downloaded the right tuning files for your model of ECU, which you should have checked using the tablet before downloading files that will match that ECU model number.
