Maybe 4.5 years ago before I got my car I would've said "hell no!" lol.

But man, at least where I live? So many CWP/SWP twins everywhere. We had a running gag a couple years back that every time we held a South Bay meet there'd be like 10-15 white twins and then just a handful combined of the remaining colors.

I love white and don't mind that I chose it, it shows off the lines well and looks fantastic in the light and dark.

But still, it winds up being a bit more boring to me when it's parked in a row of same-colored cars lol.

Anyone else notice the marked discontinuity in colour between the Sapphire Blue hood and adjacent areas of the body? The hood has a more purple tint, which is weird because some of these adjacent areas lie on the same plane and are getting the same external light, so it's not an artefact of differential lighting. The difference is most marked with the front bumper, and there we have a substrate difference, aluminum vs. plastic. Not nice.

The Magnetite Grey looks just terrific here in direct sun, gorgeous.

The Sapphire Blue really does change shade quite a bit just by the angle you're looking at it. It had more depth than I'm used to seeing in some other Subaru colors. Like a blurple version of the red on the ND's. Very different color depending on light and angle.

Eliminating "pavement colors" like white, silver/grey or black, which we avoid, that only leaves red and two blues. And my wife's last two cars have been red, and right now we have 2-1/2 red cars (and seven red bicycles), so I think she wants a change. Blue remains likeliest unless offerings change.

But holy crap the BRZ pulls it off. Farah’s onetake had my jaw on the floor because how nicely the car’s lines play with the metal flake in the silver. It’s gorgeous.
