I never thought black suited the 1st gen car, but it looks terrific on the GR86 here. Unfortunately it makes a white front plate that much more obnoxious.

Yes black and in general dark colors suit better the new gen.

Dark colors hide details and I rather see details.

If those are the base wheels, I like them.

Maybe in photos, but dark colors, in person, tend to highlight contours. If you have a car with a rough body, you want it in white because the it hides small dents and dings the best.

I dropped the recycling bin on the hood of my wife’s pepper white MINI. I bet you that 9 out of 10 people wouldn’t notice it because the color hides the issue so well.

Truth. Our SUV is white and has hail damage. Almost impossible to see, ~30 dings on the hood alone. Our black sedan shows every single ding, just got PDR for it a few weeks ago and it made a huge difference, even though it had much less dents than the SUV.

The front looks better debadged.

Those are some good pics. I like that it has a hint of a sharknose - a bit like the current Miata, but without the goofy (to me) grin.

Looks like the peach color is coming back?

If this dark color looks as good in person as it does in the pic, I'm going to seriously consider this color dependent on availability.

That nose looks longer than I'd expected.
Getting some baby F-type vibes (and yes, that is a very very good thing)
