Pops and bangs with open loop and closed loop fueling
I’m on romraider trying to achieve actual bangs instead of tin can pops. i’ve tried going as low as -14 in base timing B, now i’m adding fuel in the primary open loop table. i set the afr to 11 in the lowest load, now i’m wanting to mess with closed loop stuff but i don’t wanna touch something that would blow my car up. anyone have any tips or ideas?

NEEd to cover more engine load to get louder pops, like until 0.3-0.35 instead of the first column only
car will jerk a lot though if you don't have ecutek to switch maps on the fly |
Why do people do this?

They want people to look at them and go: ‘Oh wow! What a douche!’ |
A Gallardo passed me in a turn lane the other day, it had subtle "pops and bangs". Awesome, I said to myself. The other kind? Not so much.

Pops and bangs with open loop and closed loop fueling
I’ll rant.
Pops and bangs are stupid. 10 degrees of camber is stupid. Dropping a car 4 inches is stupid Having a completely catless system with an N1 exhaust is stupid. Cutting crash structure or removing airbags on a street car is stupid. Lifting trucks is stupid, it makes them incompatible with other cars’ crash structure. Steel aftermarket bumpers are stupid. Im tired of pretending that ‘aLl builDs aRE co0L’ and ‘all car enthusiasts deserve support’. Hell no. If your car is a public nuisance beyond all reason, or poses danger to others, you’re an asshole, full stop. There. You wanted a rant no? |

Standing by for an actual answer as to why you would want to do this.
