I asked them to not do a dealership detail because I have a professional coming on Thursday to clean/opti-coat(he said they do more damage than good).

Anyway. Words cannot explain my excitement right now.

Congrats! What dealership did you go with?

I picked mine up wrapped too...unwrapped it in the parking lot and drove it home, detailed it myself.

Congrats - I did the same thing, but I asked them to take the shipping tape off and just rinse her down. I didn't want to drive 5 hours through 3 states with white tape on a DGM car :)

I wouldn't even trust the dealer to remove the plastic wrappers. Congrats on your new car.

I went with Subaru of nashua. Marc my sales person did a great job.

I actually live one town over from the Subaru dealer in Acton MA but when I emailed them to see if they would let me take a look at one they had just been delivered they told me straight up no. It was early June and I had never seen the car in person yet, I had no idea how big or small it was. They said in order for me to see it I would have to put down a $1000 dollar deposit and wait for one to be delivered before I could even see one. Now I didn't expect to touch the car, drive the car, or even sit in the car but they wouldn't let me just look at it. I asked nicely a few times explaining what i was expecting and they kept saying no. Maybe they thought I wasn't serious about buying one because I look somewhat young (22).

The next week I happened to be driving through Nashua and noticed that they had a brz in the show room. Busted a U-turn right then and walked in at 6:59 to take a look(they close at 7:00). Marc was happy to stick around after they were technically closed to let me look around and even sit in the car(I was careful, I knew this was gonna be someone else's baby someday and I wouldn't appreciate someone scratching stuff in mine). I came back the next day with my deposits and ordered this one.

Welcome to the club of Massachusetts BRZ owners bro. The car looks sweet, who is doing your detailing?
