Upgrading headers from 1320 to tomei uel difference? Is it worth it?
 

Hey guys, I recently picked up a tomei uel headers for a good price but I already have the 1320 uel headers, don't have any problems with them so far but does anyone know if there would be a difference in performance or sound since I'm assuming they're ask very similar. If not I'll probably sell the tomei to my friend. I bought my 1320 for 80 and tomei for 400.

Current setup :
1320 Uel headers
PLM 2.5 Overpipe
HKS dual resonated front pipe
Mxp comp rs catback

Might sound different, not much else I'd expect.

Design is 99% similar. The difference is one is shitty quality and the other is less shitty. As long as your current one is not leaking, then you will gain absolutely no performance.

I'd check your header for cracks while you are at it. I've read the PLM is known to crack overtime.

Unless you want to Feel like you are apart of some made up thing in your mind that the brand tomei is better then go ahead. It won't give you more gains. If you had ask if going from 1320 to jdl turbo kit then that would make a lot of sense.

As other mentioned. Check your current headers condition. if in good shape either keep as back up or sell and get an OFT for tune (if you don't have one)
