[clarkson]Some say it’s a test-mule, some say it’s a design study, all i know is The Stig went cross-eyed from looking at it.[/clarkson]

Almost looks like someone did a Camaro bumper swap on a WRX.

I don't know why you guys are saying it's a WRX, judging by the side profile, it actually appears to be an older Mazda 3 by the looks of it...

I miss the V8 Commodores we got in the states. Shame Holden went defunct.

Holden didn’t go defunct. GM let it wither. Marketed correctly, the commodore chassis could have exploded in NA and the Middle East. With a compelling lower displacement engine even Europe too. But GM chose to push cheaper platforms instead. The Pontiac G8 (VE) was cancelled together with Pontiac like a year into production, and the Chevy SS (VF) saw no marketing coverage and dealers weren’t interested in selling them.

Yep, I'm plenty disappointed at how GM handled the brand. Both generations of the rebadged Commodore are rare sightings now, even the V6 G8 ones.

The Ute was a no-brainer for GM to resurrect the El Camino in the States, but they still failed to figure it out.

Only 11 years until I can import a 2007.

if you've got the funds, you can get one right now.
just need a g8 donor car, plus about $30k for the conversion.
