Does such a knob exist on any of the special editions?

I found this in black suede and love the look, but I think it will get pretty gross fast with regular use. Same idea just in the factory leather finish.

Check out the shift knob in the new BRZ/GR86. It appears to be exactly what you are looking for. It is just like the first gen shift knob with the silver trim ring, but it has a black trim ring. I am willing to bet it will fit on the first gen cars.

That is sick. I also saw this knob on Etsy but I bet the black painted rings would fade with use, and I don't care for alcantara in things you handle a lot. I'll wait for the 2022 brz to release and buy the OEM knob.

Excellent spot. I will be grabbing one of those when I can get a hold of parts(or a 2022 owner wants to sell one to me)

it was also quite expensive for what it was. $190 before tax and shipping. I can't imagine the OEM knob being more than $100

They might have raised the price due to demand. It was $130 or 140 when I saw it which is not much over OEM. Alcantara gets too dirty quick if you touch it daily so I just want leather with black rings.

You can get the OEM knob for anywhere from $95 to 117 depending on dealer
