System worked like a charm and is known as a mellow system but it was still a bit too loud for my taste.

JDL Turbo kit with 3" turbo back

1-10 how annoying was the loudness? i need a 3" for my JDL turbo, tuner says the 3" down pipe to 2.5" is restricting air flow

I’d give it a 4 out of 10 in annoyance. I liked everything about the system outside of the 3300-2700 decal drone. Funny cause I’m thinking about going down to 2.5 Corsa system.

Well looks like to much for my taste, I'd love to stay with 2.5, however if you have a 3"DP like i do, you'll need to find a tapered style overpipe or overpipe/downpipe combo that goes from 3" to 2.5

Combine it with the STI exhaust cushions and that drone goes away

Really??? I'm confused what exhaust hangers "cushions" have anything to do with the drone.

Something to do with the resonance frequency transmitted through the hangers? Not sure....SCIENCE!

I have the Perrin 3 inch resonated exhaust on my turbo FR-S. I love it. No drone at all in cabin.
I had the 3 inch exhaust on my first FR-S and it was NA bolt ons and it was loud with drone.

With Turbo.. no problem.

I’m gonna be going with JDL 3” overpipe/front pipe/exhaust.
