Hey Tommy, do you have a baffled oil pan as well?

I heard that it does pair up well with the maperformance pan/ full blown pan with baffle.

They insisted of me sending it in, I should have said forget it and just cut it the same length as the stock pickup. Basically paid 130 bucks to write a "do not recommend" review on their FB page.

i just measured mine with some calipers on a table and its 3.455" tall not sure what oem is. also i did get a bluemoon baffle because id like my engine to continue to get oil

I don't have a stock one to measure right now. I haven't tore apart my spare motor yet.

100% recommend the baffle.

That's one epic QC fail. Thanks for calling them out on it.

I second this. Thank you!

For such a critical part, not to have strict 100% control via a measuring jig for example (which is based on the dimensions of the OE part - length, angle,...) is beyond me :(

This pick-up tube was also on my radar.

Perhaps I'll just make one myself...

welp i had no idea this was an issue, i guess this is what hes talking about

Code Monkey 04-15-2021 11:53 AM

I have had mine for over 5,000 miles and multiple track days, no issues so far...

Just a datapoint. I just installed a KillerB pickup with a bluemoon baffle and everything fit fine. The pickup does come with a new set of socket head cap screws which I believe are too long though. It felt like they were bottoming out so I used the original OEM fasteners instead

Can confirm bluemoon baffle and killer b oil pickup should work together with the oil pan. I mocked it up and its fine.

Also the provided allen bolts don’t bottom out. The bolt whole is about 19mm deep and the allen bolt is about 16mm. I even hand threaded the bolts in without any resistant.

Dry fit your oil pan over the top of it. That was my issue, pickup hit the oil pan.
