Underglow recommendations?

I’ve had the car for 7 years. It’s in great shape, recently repainted, still autocrossing and mechanically running well, and the ricer in me has ALWAYS wanted underglow.

I think this year is the year. What kits are good, which are great, which should I avoid, installation tips, tricks, or advice?

Thanks in advance.

ur about 15 years too late to the party lol, pretty sure the underglow fad died out around 5 years after the first fnf movie came out

Diode Dynamics make led strips that can be run outside the car. And they are a forum sponsor!

Type S sponsors FormulaD, probably the highest level sponsorship I've seen for lighting like that:

i do not know why you'd want to illuminate your car in the night for cops to easily spot as a modified sports car if you drive spiritedly in the city either. It's essentially driving with a spotlight on your car haha

funny thing is, because it's jeeps, and half the jeeps are cop-owned, no one bothers them.

i get pulled over and ticketed for 2 1/4" blue led plate bolts, but these guys are running full blue, red, or green lights everywhere(headlights, grille, underbody, wheel well, inside-wheels, and sometimes lighted antenna whips) on the trucks, and no one touches them...

Same here in Florida. Not a single truck gets pulled over and half of them go against the Highway Code in at least 7 ways.

Sounds like you don’t like to have fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He literally said it’s something he’s always wanted to try, so, who cares?

OP post pics when it’s done!
