Tips to remove poop stains
 

Any recommendations on how can I get rid of this bird poops stains, I’ve used meguiars ultimate compound by hand but it did nothing, I’m guessing I have to use a polish machine, has any one of you had to deal with this in the past?. I’ll attach some pictures, also the paint feels oxidize to hand touch.

How long has the poop been on there? It should come off with some rubbing compound but if it was on long enough to affect the integrity of the clear coat you may need a rotary.

Two things.
Get it off as quickly as possible.
Get your next car ceramic coated.

I know too late.

If it has been on there very long it will etch the clearcoat and possibly stain the surface.
If you are able to buff it out, try one of the spray graphene or ceramic sprays. It may help with future droppings. Waxes will not stop bird poop from getting to the paint.

That's etched the paint. Only way to "remove" it is paint correction, and even then, it might be too late if it has eaten away through the clear coat.

with no teeth, a birds poop is highly acidic.

Please add the word 'bird' into the title. I thought a baby's diaper had exploded inside your car.
That being said, you may not have gone deep enough with the Meguiar's Ultimate Compound - try it on one spot and try buffing it more.

At this point your best bet is to do a paint correction. After that, ceramic coat it.

If you can get your hands on a DA or Rotary polisher you can clean that up with the compound you have. I'd stick with foam pads, like an orange or yellow cut.
Finish with a green pad and a polish.
You'd need to use a decent amount of pressure by hand to build up heat needed to correct that. Then you'll need a polish to correct the hazing.

I managed to correct light etching by hand that happened on my deck lid. Poop was only there a day, two tops and it left a hollowgrame effect you could see in the right lighting.


Ceramic coating can help as It'll etch the coating if left on which is probably more desirable than the clear it self. You'd need to repolish the panel and recoat in that situation.

Bird poop is highly acidic. You have to get it off your car asap! You don't have any clear coat left in those spots to save and any polishing you do will probably only spread clear coat failure. You will have to do send it to a paint shop to try to do a spot repair and re-clear coat it. But most shops will probably want to do the whole panel.
Other option would be to put stickers over the spot.

I’ve got a first sized splat that looks exactly like birdpoo etching that has seemingly appeared over night. It’s right above where I shut my driver door so I would have noticed it immediately like I did this morning if it had been there before. Never had a bird poo on that particular area and my car was garaged all night so not sure what to make of it

I watched a YouTube video of a guy slowly and carefully heating the etched paint with a heat gun. You could also use a hair dryer. Seems to work like a charm.

It's done. Bird poop ate through the clear, and the clear on this car sucks to start with. No amount of compounding or paint correction will help fix it
