Supercharger install

Looking for an individual to help me install a supercharger kit. The shop is wanting 15-20 hours of labor, which is a rip off..

Still deciding between edelbrock or harrop.

Pm or text me your rate and experience if interested

Thanks in advance

Doesn't seem like a ripoff to me. 16 hours would be my labor estimate.

Called around. Ptuning is only charging 9 hours to install. So 16 was indeed a rip off. If you are happy to pay 16, more power to you.

I didn't say I would pay it: that's what my shop would estimate.

They're being nice. I guarantee there will be 2 people working to install it in a single day. Remember, business is very slow for us in this industry. I'd be taking a bath to charge you only 9 hours on that job.

Superstreet says 8 hours. PTuning says 9. I'd say 8-9 if you're being cautious and following the install manual plus burping the intercooler and whatnot.

I'd go to PTuning if I were in your shoes. I'm sure they'll do the ecutune install and everything.

Or try reading the manual a couple of times and attempting it yourself in a day or two. It'd be fun and buying tools that you don't have is always a good time :)

EDIT: Your avatar is literally about being a shadetree mechanic... seems like the prudent thing to do would be to BE that. GLHF!
