Hi fellow pinoys! I also recently paid a reservation fee of P20k at subaru fort global city. Im trying to get the M/T, color WR Blue. The nice sales lady said the M/T shall be priced at around P1.8M++, and the A/T at P1.9M to 2M. She hasnt given me final specs yet but im expecting this to be a tad more loaded compared to its twin, the toyota 86. To date, i think there are around 50 pax who reserved for a brz unit in that dealership. Marami din na daw nagreserve sa alabang and san juan.

Im a bit disappointed sa toyota dealerships dito sa atin. Hotcake kasi ang 86 kaya marami nananamantala na dealerships. I also queued for an 86 at toyota global city. They didnt say kung pang ilan ako and they wont take any money din. Catch is, you cant pay cash nor thru your own bank financing. Only way to get a unit (at least for now) is thru their in-house financing which charges almost double the bank's interest rates! You also are required to get the aero accessories (same experience with Theognosis) as an add-on worth P300k! Now if my calculations are correct, in the end (3-year financing terms), you'll pay approx P2.3M while you just wanted the M/T model at P1.55M!

The subaru sales lady naman said they would allow cash purchases or own-bank financing. Kaya nung nag compute ako, ang lumalabas 2.1M lang yung brz (@3-year financing terms). When i learned about this, i immediately paid the reservation fee! Sana lang hindi magbago isip nila.

Subaru will start to release daw starting this december. I think ill get my allocation May or April 2013.

I got a similar run-around.

Toyota won't take a deposit but I'm "on a list".

Subaru took my 50k and told me just today they will get 10 units for all of the Philippines this year, them more to follow next year. They will have a BRZ "launching" sometime in November.

Hi Guys! Got my 86 at Toyota Global City last Oct 6. Also did what Theognosis did. When my agent asked if I wanted the car, I just gave them all the requirements. The car is a blast to drive!

EB sana tayo kaya lang halos lahat nasa West Coast... Whewww!!! So far wala pa naman problem ang auto... I hope walang lumabas... Yun cricket sound na sinasabi hindi naman malala sa akin ang sound sa engine... Pinachecked ko na sa Car dealer at normal naman daw... Wala naman daw ito magiging problem sa engine... I hope totoo nga...

Finally got my Lightning Red M/T 86 :D put down a 100k deposit at Toyota Cubao last June 6. It was a long 6 months but it was worth the wait! No in-house financing and trd kit requirement BS. They only requested that we get in-house insurance.

FYI, I saw another 4 86s at Toyota Cubao. Another red, 2 white pearls and a black aero.

Will post photos tomorrow. iClous photostream isn't working at the moment :)

i need to go back home and see if i can get some parts since you guys have LHD most should work on the FRS. especially the foglight kit.

Congrats! Is this particular car the one you're getting? I'm curious as to why this unit appears to be the aero variant (red interior, big wing and side skirts) but it seems to be missing the chin spoiler..

Does the red color automatically have red seats? Ive been at the delearship but never seen red seats like that. Is thst an option?

Yeah. When i got there they havent isntalled the front and rear lip. Mine is the aero package. Price is 1.8m php. The trd version i think is around 2.2m

So, they have the trd version? availabe here? Is it available in manual? Whats included in the trd version? Fullbody kit including rear? trd brakes? Trd rims? Trd exhaust?

Regarding TRD kits, they have a pricelist at the dealers so you can choose which part you need. Wheels and brakes are not in the list.

purchase them online and ill refund you shipping costs when you pick them up.
