I ordered Whiteout and SWP. My last car was black so really wanted a white one this time. Plus I've had a pearl blue before and wanted to own another pearl color. I really love how it looks whenever sun light hits on it! :bow:

I ordered a limited so I'll also decide whether the price increase is really worth it. If ever I go with the FRS at least I'll have a few bucks left for a couple of upgrades.

Oo nga hirap mag hanap ng available to pre order. Pero whichever car you decide to get it's basically the same car. I even consider it twins! you won't go wrong with both of these cars.

I'm from Canada.. and like most people who have the North American FRS version I want to convert my Scion to Toyota as much as possible. ^^did you try reserving a unit with the dealers? Thats what i did. I just paid the reservation fees with two dealers. Hopefully i get the cat next year.

I'm from Cebu and the dealers in our area is accepting reservation. But subaro does. May be I will try Manila. Which dealer did you go and how much is the reservation fee? Is it refundable?

What I mean is tha Cebu Toyota dealer is not accepting reservation.

Last week I dropped off a 50k deposit at Subaru Alabang for a PW m/t BRZ.

Also have a "reservation" at Toyota Dasma for a PW m/t but they wouldn't take any money.

Dasma actually has a WP m/t in the showroom ! ! ! I have tried everything to get this but they say it was sold months ago. I tried to get the name of the owner to buy it from him but no luck.

I prefer Toyota.

Subaru sales lady (hot :) ) said they don't have the confirmed price or options list. but estimated p2m. and 1 year warranty because it's a "race car"....lol.

Toyota published the price on their website and at the dealer p1,550m for the m/t + 15k for White pearl.

Both dealers say the units will arrive in December.

Manila Bulletin had an article last week quoting the Toyota Philippine CEO "200 units will arrive before year end".

Toyota Alabang has 1 unit, blue, a/t but is running some sort of auction, the sales lady (also hot, in a Michelle Mylene sort of way). said I could probably get it if I make an offer for the list price + financing + toyota insurance + the p300k aero kit, I declined on this silliness. and I don't want a/t....

Sadly, you have to be willing to sacrifice an arm and leg for an 86 if you want one today. The TRD kit and all those ridiculous add-ons are "required" if you want to join the lottery. It's unfair but that's how it goes. I'm pleased with what I got and I think it's worth a limb or two.

I wish you all the luck in your hunt for the elusive 86.

Thanks, bro. TRD skirts, exhaust, diffuser, stabilizer bar and various lids. 3m black full tint. Rest is stock. It's manual so I get to appreciate the gearshift.

I just stopped by Subaru for an update. Alabang will get 10 units in November then a few more in December. Said the price will be 1.9?m ! ! !

3 year warranty or 60,000km's

I asked why the BRZ was so much more than the GT86, he said the Toyota only comes with a 150hp engine - I said there is only 1 engine option and the cars all come from the same production line.
ha! what a load of BS.

Then went to Toyota Alabang, no news, sales girl didn't have a clue!
