Hi! Guys ano yung magandang aos for our 86? :)

danscar 05-01-2013 05:14 AM

Hi. Nice to see everyone getting their new 86/BRZ. Hope to meet you soon (some I already know). I'm from Dagupan City and I attend meets/track days at Clark Intl Speedway. BRC is a bit far so I make it a point to go everytime there is a schedule for Clark meet.

There are also several friends here who have 86 but I don't know of any who's got a BRZ. We have a local Toyota dealer here and Subaru's nearest dealer is in Pampanga.

Anyway I wanted to share a minor glitch on my purchase. I was was waxing my car last weekend....excited pa Rin....and what a work out, and I discovered that my FRont Spoiler have deep scratces running about two feet on the driver side on the under carriage. Although you can't see it but when you run your fingers through you'll feel the scratches and deep depressions. Obviously the driver from the dealer or Tmpi hit a ramp and damaged it. Dealer will honor the retouch and okay naman.

So to the guys lurking ...when you take delivery of your unit...run your fingers below the your front spoiler and inspect. Thanks mga bro. I need to drive this car more.....cheers!

thanks for the head up jetscape! i'll surely be looking at that when i get the delivery of my BRZ

Jetscape, thanks for the heads up. The thanks button is on the lower right corner of every post but you need to be logged in to see it.

Because our cars are so low, it is very easy to get the front bumper under portion scratched, with or without a body kit. To save yourself the hassle of always having to go to the body shop to have it retouched, I suggest you install a universal front under bumper lip protector. Its made of flexible silicone rubber and can really take a beating ,its cheap and it actually makes the front end look good. I have it installed in almost all my cars and has saved me a couple of trips to the body shop.

Hope this helps you out.

can you post a picture of your BRZ w/ it? i wanna see how it looks like cos i'm looking into buying this in advance so i can put it na agad when i get the car as to avoid scraping the front bumper

Here is a picture of it with my STi spoiler already installed (under the yellow line). Will try to look for a picture of it when my spoiler was not installed yet and it was directly attached to the bumper instead of the spoiler. Pretty durable stuff. Has saved my spoiler from sure destruction several times already.
