$1000 off FR-S purchase price for qualifying school graduates

Just wanted you guys to know, because I had to find this by myself and none of the dealerships tell you this, but if you are graduating and getting a degree in anything in the next 6 months or have graduated in the last 2 years, you are entitled to get $1,000 off your car! If not, take a relative or a friend with you who fits in that category and with their help you can do the same thing. (Buy them a great gift if you do that!) You just need a diploma! :happyanim:

What better way to start an exciting new chapter of your life than in a brand new Scion. As a qualifying grad, you can get $1,000 off the purchase or lease of a new Scion delivered before August 31, 2012.

It gets even better... In addition, if you lease or finance through Toyota Financial Services (TFS), you may also be eligible for the TFS Grad Program. This program helps to put approved graduates behind the wheel – even without an established credit history, provide a reduction of 0.2% to your lease or finance rate in addition to the Scion posted rate, and waive the security deposit for graduates that prefer to lease.

Grad Program

Program Details

  • All new and unregistered Scion models (including demonstrators of these models), delivered by an authorized Scion dealer.
  • The Scion Graduate Program Allowance is in addition to the Scion posted rate that is available from Scion at the time of delivery.
  • The vehicle must be registered in the name of the applicant.
  • The dealer must submit Scion Graduate Program Allowance Applications within 30 days of vehicle delivery to be eligible for the Graduate Allowance.
  • Each graduate is only eligible to receive the Graduate Allowance one time under this program.
  • The graduate is not eligible for the Scion Graduate Program if the Toyota Graduate Program has been used previously by the graduate.

Wish I could've found a way to qualify...

They run credit on whomever the graduate is and put them on the loan (assuming you arent paying cash). I don't think you can just take a buddy in with you.

^ That actually makes better sense...

If that wasn't the case... I was thinking for future purchases, I would pull out my phone diary to look up and get in touch with some of my younger buddies who may have recently graduated, hahahehe!!

I knew about the rebate but I did not know it was 2 years. My degrees 1.5 years old, I thought I was screwed. Thanks for sharing. I should read fine print.
