2018 BRZ/86 curtain airbag fit on FR-S?
 

Hello, I bought a side curtain airbag today from a part out car but the end of the airbag (The pink part) seems slightly different compared to the one meant for my FR0s would it still work? Or is the airbag only for the 2018 models and up. Thank you.

Parts get redesigned all the time, buying a side curtain airbag for a 86 is not a good way to get replacement part. My suggestion is to get in the parts manual for your VIN number and get the correct part number for the part you need. Then verify that part number on the replacement part. This is the only way you can be sure that the part will fit. There also may be a TSB out that will tell you how to use an updated part if the original part design is no longer available.
