K24/CD0009 Question
 

Hey everyone!

Hope all is well with everyone and this shitty situation we are going through.

My question today is if anyone has the k24 with a cd0009 trans combo? I will be doing this swap in about a month and a half once it com out of storage. I just would like to know if I would have to buy a short shifter kit to shorten the trans assembly to allow the shifter to go through the oem hole in my 86. I understand that with most swaps a shortened assembly is necessary but I wul love to know before hand so I can order and have it to me before assembly begins,

Solidsnake11 does. He cut off the stock bellhousing and welded it to the CD009.

Contact someone in the link below if you don’t get what you need here, and ask if they could measure the engine to shifter or something.
