OFT Question

I was uploading a tune to my OFT when the cable lost connection and corrupted the files on the device, including the original tune. Thanks to Shiv I was able to do a fresh wipe of the OFT and read the OFT tune loaded on the ECU as the original (OFT v4.03 E85 tune, B01C calibration).

I was going to load a different tune, but I noticed my OFT is showing a A01G calibration code. Is that because OFT tunes use an underlying A01G cal and does my OFT device now think my ECU cal code is A01G? Is there any risk of bricking my ECU since my ECU is actually B01C?

All v4 tunes are Euro tunes. There is no risk of bricking anything.
Euro tunes are better defined and have the Launch Control, FFS patch installed.
And the biggest reason is that the FlexFuel code has been writting for A01G.

For reference:
all 2012-2016 MT cars are A01G
all 2012-2016 MT cars are A01I
all 2017+ MT are K00G
all 2017+ AT are K00I

no problems with bricking.

the oft will only ley you load matching calibrations anyway.

all 86\brz tunes are same size for same ecu type, incoreect tune may cause car not to start but wont brick ecu, only if tune very corrupted you might get isdues like that ie edited with incorrect definitions
