Only work I'm getting done is playing gran turismo 5 with the best setup I could ask for. Minus a built in beer tap. Pretty awesome what $8 worth of wood can build:party0030:

Nicely done man! I was wanting to do a similar setup, but instead a bigger box to compliment a spare driver's seat I have for my AE86. So you get the 'entire' feeling of driving.

I wanted a better experience with a racing game. So I built... car with wood.. and.. had a seat.. and borrowed my friend's Logitech set. :< I got soo into it. >_<

Hey that's a good thing. It's rare to see a chick play some racing game. LOL out of my friends, I only have 2 girls that play racing games (few other girls do play other games).

So how good are you in drifting now? Or do you only do grip?

I need to find some girlfriends like that. The girls I know don't care about cars...they only care about getting from A to B.

I've been gripping a lot, but haven't been playing as much as I'd like too. I can't seem to configure the LSD right on one of my cars. LOL and I'm getting frustrated since I'm getting my ass kicked in a couple of races.

As for the special event. I HATE THAT STUPID VOLKSWAGON BUS RACE. WTH IS THIS GARBAGE.

30k money. I WANT IT. But I can't shift any higher than 4 and the understeer is killing me.

For grip, ask Dragon. He's really good.

If you want drift car, I can send one in your way. I think, I still have your PSN ID. But don't forget, mine set up is mostly for regular controller drift, so don't expect the same for wheel.

How much car did you build?

Spent money only on the wood and some metal parts. Took wood and made it so there was a stop for the foot pedals. Took a friend's no longer used recaro racing seat and placed it on some metal rails. Added wood so if anyone else wanted to play the seat was adjustable. Clutch is on the right side of the chair a little bit towards the middle so it feels like a car (its interchangeable so you can move it left too. Since the G27's plastic rod legs didn't feel so secure we took the steering wheel and placed it on a 4 pieces of wood and had it held down. Did some drilling on the sides so we made it where you could adjust how close you want it to yourself and adjust it up and down.

Note: The wood was all sanded down and smooth as a baby's butt.

I needa take several pictures of it so I can post it up. Lol. The set is at a friend's house atm since I got bored with GT5 for a bit. :P

I think they might have added more to it or taken some off. Iono been a couple of weeks since I stopped playing. O_O

if you are racing for the credits, try the seasonal race where you get 400k+ for a single race. 30k is like nothing. However if you really want the gold medal.......

Its sooo hard. 30k is a lot for me right now. haha. :D I'm getting Bronze in some of the tests in the Driving tests. T_T
