Electrical help needed: no Climate control lights
 

Hey all,

I’ve researched and can’t find a solution so far. I bought this 2013 FRS with a blown motor and did a full rebuild and runs great, but the lights for the climate control do not work or the lighting for the VSC and TRAC buttons. The dimmer works and adjusts the actual gauge cluster lights, but none of the other lights that are supposed to come on when the headlights are switched on actually turn on (climate controls, etc.). To be clear, the actual climate controls themselves work, just not the lights. Finally, the clock has the same problem. When the lights are on and the dimmer is at the brightest setting, the clock displays, but when you put the dimmer on the next notch down, the clock display completely disappears. I’ve checked all of the fuses and replaced the PANEL 10a fuse (it was blown), but it still doesn’t work. I’ve also started looking at wiring diagrams, but was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction. Finally, the car has an aftermarket radio and I have verified the wiring is correct. Thanks in advance for the help!

how did they wire the aftermarket radio?

did they use a plug or cut the wires?
