2013 BRZ Premium - 6MT - 116k miles – CT – SOLD
 

I am selling my 2013 BRZ 6 Speed Manual with 116,400 miles. Mostly stock with a few modifications, it has never seen any engine or exhaust system mods/tunes/etc. Clean Title in hand, 2 owners, purchased CPO from Subaru in February 2017. I am selling to free up garage space. It has been daily driven through all seasons, and garaged for the last 2 years. It has never seen track days, drifting, burnouts, or clutch dumps. Mileage will continue to go up. I’m willing to meet within a reasonable distance, and will bring the car to your choice of local mechanic for inspection at expense.

Note: This car is not affected by the MY2013 valve spring recall!

Exterior

The paint is what you would expect for an 8 year old Subaru. There are some areas where small scratches/chips were touched up. The majority of the miles are highway, as a result there are rock chips on the bumper and a few on the hood. There are no major dents or body damage, no chips or cracks on the glass. All the bumper/panels are attached securely and there is some minor scraping on the bottom of the front bumper. Any of the blemishes below have been indicated in the photos.
• There are a few door dings and dents, one near the driver door handle, and a few on the hood
• Scratch on the roof near the windshield
• The driver side rear quarter panel and door was repaired/ repainted due to an accident in 2016, it was professionally done but there is a small amount of orange peel along the bottom of the driver's side door. It is really only noticeable if you are actively looking for it. This one and only accident happened and was repaired under prior ownership, and to my knowledge only involved the driver door and rear quarter panel.
• Rust is average for a New England car that is winter driven. No visible rust on the body panels. None of the underbody components have rotted out due to rust.

Interior

Normal wear and tear for a vehicle its mileage and age. All the buttons, switches, and features are 100% functional, and none of the trim/plastics is broken. Anything noted below are indicated in the photos.
• Some wear on driver’s seat bolsters from getting in and out.
• Scratches on the dash, door panels and glove box

Modifications

• Racecomp Engineering yellow lowering springs (0.8” Drop) (installed at 109k)
• Koni Sport adjustable dampers Front & Rear (installed at 83k)
• K&N Air Filter
• Whiteline Polyurethane front sway bar bushings
• 16mm rear sway bar
• Fumoto oil drain valve
• Diode dynamics XP80 LED amber turn signals w/ smartap relay
• Morimoto XB LED fog lights (original wiring harness and switch dealer installed)
• Raceseng Spherology Shift Knob
• Weathertech floor mats (Front)

Mechanicals

There have been no issues at all with the engine, it has been completely reliable. The engine is strong, and as mentioned there have never been any engine mods or ECU tunes done on this car. Under my ownership it has always been serviced with Mobil 1 0w20 full synthetic motor oil on regular intervals. I always allow the engine and transmission to warm up to operating temperatures before driving hard. Oil consumption is at most 1/2 qt per oil change during the summer months with spirited driving. The engine and all its components are original to this car.
This BRZ does not fall in the range of the 2013 model year cars that were recalled due to the valve spring issue. Meaning, the engine has not been opened up nor will it need to be for valve spring replacement.

Wheels/Tires
The following are included with the sale. If either set is not desired, a new price can be worked out.

Currently Mounted: Enkei RSF5 16x7 +38 with Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 205/55r16 tires. About 6/32” Tread remains. The wheels are in good condition with no cracks or bends. The clear coat finish is beginning to fail as the wheels have been used exclusively as winters.

OEM wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 225/45zr17. The tires are worn and will need replacing soon. The wheels are in good condition with minor chips and no cracks or bends.

Service History

Full service history from 45,000 miles is included. I did most services myself. I can share documents on request. Spark plugs were changed at 61,400 miles. The clutch was replaced at 65,900 miles by an independent mechanic in 2017 with an Exedy OE spec clutch and flywheel. The throwout bearing was replaced with the 2017 revised part at that time. Emissions is good for 2 years. Some of the recent services are below:
