Used engine questions
So I spun a bearing and recently bought a used motor. It came from a 2016 with 57k miles on it but when i inspected it after delivery it had a 13-14 engine harness and coil packs so it looks like the car it came from had replaced their original motor at some point. So a couple questions while I decide what to do with this unknown year/mileage motor
1) is there anything on the motor that could be used to look up info on it such as the year it was produced or linking it to a VIN? 2) compression was 210-212-200-205. Leakdown was 2%-3%-3%-3% Leakdown seems good but the compression seems a little low? Just wondering from people who know more than I do if it seems like a healthy engine. |

According to the manual, 167psi is min with no more then 29psi difference between cylinders.

Used engine questions
Here are the stampings and tag of a 13’ block I have. I don't know if this is helpful. What I would assume is the vin plate is on the passenger side towards the bottom.
