Minimum Tire Tread SX2 for Track day

I got a set of SX2's I want to try and burn off completely.

Fronts have between 3-4MM of tread and rears have between 4-5mm tread left. Is this enough to get another track day with setup in signature minus boosted(going back to NA+ E85 setup)

Yes it is.

You will hit base compound at 2/32" (wear bar), and it'll be pretty evident when you do, as grip will drop dramatically.

To bump this thread...

I did some re-measurements and noticed fronts are now under 3mm. I have a new set waiting in the wings. Rear is between 4-5mm. Can I just put 2 new tires in the front and then swap out the rears after the 20th at big willow?

I would put the low tread depth on the front and run the new ones on the back.

I'd shoot myself with that much understeer putting the new tires on the back.

If you're wearing out fronts quicker then rears then rotate and use up the set you've got imho, check them after every session and stop if you hit the cords.

I would put the new tires up front :)

Having a sub par tire setup at Big Willow is not a good idea.
Put all new tires on

I decided to get the most out of these tires. Got an auto cross day to kill the tires and I will swap before big willow
