Yes, thanks.

I mean come on, we can play the same game on both sides here.

There's always going to be a margin of error.

Were those negative reactions due to undiagnosed allergies? If so, then if they'd have known about them then they wouldn't have gotten the vaccine and had those reactions. Which is actually what is recommended. They say if you know you have had allergic reactions to medicines/vaccines to wait....

You do you. No thanks. I'll let my very capable body fight things off. If the jab gives you security then more power to you it's just not my deal

So now that we have a vaccine and everything is going back to normal what do you think the next big thing is going to be?

Like what? All reactions are negative, yet almost all reactions are apart of the goal of triggering an immune response.

If there are vaccinations that give you good reactions, please let me know. Every single reaction I had from childhood, to the cocktail of shots I get in the Army, have always had some sort of "negative" reaction. I.e. you feel a little bleh. It's what vaccines do -___-

But you do you, boo.

You’ve been around this thread often. I know you’ve seen the stories in here of people who are extremely athletic and still had trouble fighting it.

Also, for the millionth time a huge chunk of this isnt about whether we can fight it off, but who we’re trying to protect who aren’t capable of fighting it off.

Which again brings back your obvious stance, which is that you clearly don’t give two shits about ordinary people.

That's a selfless act. Remember, here in America we chant about protecting others. But in reality, it's always about ME! ME! ME! ME!

Pandemic-wise? The flu. We are due for another Spanish Flu level strain. Typically every decade there is a new epidemic and every hundred years a new pandemic, or something like that. Antibiotic resistant superbugs are also up there for potentially taking out a lot of people, but typically respiratory diseases are higher than such opportunistic organisms like MRSA.

Population killers? Wars for resources and then famine.

In my lifetime (I’m 39), the effects of our pollution, harvesting, destruction, etc is going to lead to weather changes, mass migration, economic disparity, famine and the depletion of natural resources, economic instability, etc. We are in the middle of a mass extinction event that we are causing, and we will eventually be the ones to go. Remember the movie Elysium? The rich will move to Mars while we destroy each other and the planet.

No, it's about thinking rationally. You like the vaccine and think it works then good for you. Take it.

And BTW, New Zealand is an island, pretty easy to stop people from coming in or out, the US, not so much...look at the border...

Not wearing a mask actually impacts others and therefore crosses out of the personal liberty zone.

Nah I'm bored of pandemics already. I always wondered when we start colonizing Mars whether it will be the super-rich that go or the poor. I guess if the resources on Earth are gone it will be the rich who leave. Also the poor can't afford space travel, but maybe some kind of incentive for being in that first wave of people to go?

FYI thank all the people around you that receive the vaccine if you happen to avoid catching it. And just be aware, the variant driving a wave 3 lockdown where I am, has resulted in a significant upsurge in hospitalization of people ages 20 to 39. Much more than seniors who are all vaccinated.
Good stuff, John Wayne. Doesnt affect my healthcare system.

Why is it that I have not seen one vaccine objector that has post secondary biology, health or related education? Hmmm
Why is it that people that were vaccinated from diseases almost eradicated as a result would refuse a vaccine where there is immediate life-threatening concern for others all around them? Selfish much?
