SOLD WedsSport TC105X 17x9+35 EJTI 5x100 with 255/40 Hankook Tires and more
Up for sale is the WedsSports TC105X 17x9+35 I have. 2500 miles with them. No curb rash! These are great wheels. Very light weight and strong and quite the looker. Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 K120 255/40/17 tires mounted and balanced - pretty good summer tires for the price with excellent thread left (they look like new). Size chosen based on having more tire/sidewall.
These have brand new OEM Denso TPMS sensors installed. I have the ID numbers for the sensors and Techstream installed. If someone wants to pick in their car and program them on the spot I can do that. I have the self painted Hub Centric / Center Cap Ring combo that I will include. These fit snugly and I painted them black to match the tire/lug nuts. They can be sanded down and repainted if desired. I will sell at a lower price without these. Additionally I will throw in the the McGard 65554BK M12 X 1.25 Lug Nuts I have. I will sell at a lower price without these. I will not ship these unless someone is willing to pay extra for shipping and handling. $1850 FIRM. Beautiful wheels! Kinda makes me wish I had gotten 255/40 instead of the 245/40s I got, same tire model. They look perfectly sized and just the right amount of meat.
How is the feel of the 255s compared to stock 215s? why 255 instead of 245? |

So my review: at the first test ride, the 215s are more "playful". Its easier to move the steering wheel at low speeds with them, but a thing I like about the 255s is they maintain a straight traveling distance better. If I nudged the steering wheel on the 215s without paying attention the car would like to veer much more. The 255s definitely help keep the car going straight I feel like. It does feel a little more mushy in corners and when turning with the 255s however you get used to it very quickly and the car still has vastly superior steering feel. My takeaway is that any issues I have with the wider tires doesn't matter as the 255s dramatically increase my confidence in corners and lets me take corners fast which is always fun :) The car felt slowish on 93 but with headers and E85 it handled the 255s just fine and was reasonably quick. |

I don't think I saw good pictures on the TC105 wheel thread with 255s and hankooks, would it be cool if you post these pictures there too? you could also post a link to your sale thread there as well, get a bit more exposure for your efforts. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...=17040&page=29 |
