Vivid racing blew me off, and i need some rims with a deep lip
 

I was looking at SSR professors. all black with gunmetal, or titan gray spokes to match my DGM BRZ. any idea when i can get some rims with a good size lip and in the stye i am looking for?

disclaimer: i asked vivid for a quote over a month ago and every 3 days i get a close ticket warning. I am just looking for some "stance" 3 piece rims....

I've been thinking of doing a set of Rota D, 18x8.5 +44 front, 18x9.5 +40 rear. The rear would have a 2.75" lip.

Who did you PM at VividRacing? Your best bet would be to call them if you are serious about getting a quote and actually speak with someone in the shop. It sucks that you were overlooked but to say you were blown off because you waited a month for a response from a shop and you didnt think to call the shop and talk to a salesperson (Josh and Sean have been incredibly patient with me) is a little harsh.

Vivid is a business that caters to more than just FR-S/BRZ owners and I am sure that they have a ton of forums that they need to monitor and sometimes things slip.

I'm sorry if I sound like a VR cheerleader but those guys have bent over backwards to help me (of course I can actually just show up to their shop) so i am a little partial towards them.

our dy-37 has a 3 inch lip if you are ok with 18x9+35. Otherwise our 18x8 is a 2.5 inch step lip. available in black as well... hope this helps.

Calling them definitely seems like the best way to go. I've dealt with John @ Vivid and he's been extremely responsive.
