Possible oil leak?
 

So ever since I got my car (2-3 weeks) it had this seemingly oil leak on the front of the engine near the front crank seal extending leftmost on the passenger side. I had the car inspected and it was confirmed the oil looks old. I've checked the oil frequently and it does not seem like it is burning or leaking. Is the front crank seal an issue with these engines? I'm also attaching some pics for opinions. Will be trying to clean it up to see if the seepage is current or was addressed. The previous owner took really good care of the car and changed the oil much more often than the recommended schedule, he also assured me the engine does not leak nor burn oil.

Kinda looks like it's seeping from the dipstick tube oring and being blown around by the fans.

There are lots of places it could be leaking from. I would clean it off for now and check those areas again later to see if you getting more buildup. It is not too uncommon to get a little seepage from the dipstick oring. The AVCS solenoids have orings that will leak as well. The timing cover and valve cover are known to leak sometimes, those are both a pain to fix. Front main seal is not a common one.

If it is not dripping on the floor it is not a leak. An engine can seep oil. If you would clean your engine once in a while problem gone.

I had this seal go bad on mine. Similar accumulation of residue.

My OG engine looked like that It was the driver side exhaust AVCS solenoid oring.

Well thanks everybody for the answers. Haven't gotten around to it but will be cleaning the area as best as i can and then keen an eye out if the seepage continues and where it's coming from.

That's not a leak, that's a seepage.

It looks like the dipstick o ring, but if components aren't wet there is little cause for intervention. Clean it off with engine cleaner and forget about it.

Like other members said, I would so a full engine bay cleaning with degreaser and monitor the possible issue, which is likely not an issue.
